Welcome to the Bryn Teg wiki.

Bryn Teg is a 250-year old cottage above the village of Dolwyddelan and on the slopes of Moel Siabod in North Wales. This wiki has been created to provide information to visitors about the cottage and its surroundings and also to give them an opportunity to record their impressions and suggestions for future visitors.


Getting to Bryn Teg

By train

Dolwyddelan has a station on the Conway Valley Railway; although the trains are infrequent travel from Manchester, London, Birmingham, Cardiff &c. is entirely feasible. Bryn Teg is about 10 minutes walk from the station - but note the warnings about access in the paragraph on arriving by car!

By car

Bryn Teg's post code is LL25 0EQ so directions from anywhere in the UK can be obtained from Multimap and, presumably, from satellite navigation kit - though we have not checked this out for ourselves!
