  • The stop cock for the washing machine is, rather awkwardly, above the cupboards. Please turn it off when leaving in the winter.
  • The (new Hotpoint) washing machine is not working at present - a visit by an engineer is scheduled for 22 September
  • Use the washing powder provided for the washing machine and replace it if it runs out.
  • The steps leading up from the outside door to the scullery are in very poor condition. Under no circumstances should any attempt be made to use them.
  • There is small slow cooker in here; there is a bigger one in the cupboard under the television in the main lounge.
  • It can get hot in here - open the top half of the outside door and the toilet window to alleviate this.
  • There is some cleaning equipment in here.
  • There is a tool box under the sink. Use with care.
  • There are basic medicines and first aid in a cupboard in the downstairs toilet. Use with care.
