  • The french windows and terrace area are new (February 2013) and make this room the lightest in the cottage.
  • The two easy chairs make up into single beds; bedding and linen are in the chest. The stairs can be curtained off to give reasonable, but not complete, privacy.
  • The cupboards under the stairs provide some hanging space.
  • CHECK OUT THE NEWSFLASH ABOUT THE COMPUTER &c.
  • Power fluctuations sometimes cause the internet to go down; restoring it is usually easy, but please contact one of the Fletchers before attempting this. It has been particularly temperamental in the past (February 2013) but that is now sorted out.
  • There are instructions &c. for gadgets and spare light bulbs &c. in the bureau.
  • The inglenook has been replastered and the small wood-burning stove installed. Initially it was been tricky to get going because, we discovered, it was not assembled correctly before installation. Now that has been rectified it works a treat.
