* The inglenook has been replastered and the small wood-burning stove installed.  Initially it was been tricky to get going because, we discovered, it was not assembled correctly before installation.  Now that has been rectified it works a treat.
* The inglenook and the chimney breast are newly painted (October 2008) the electric stove is new; the remote control for the stove is temperamental.  The colour used on the chimney breast is rather brighter than we bargained for so comments on its effect would be welcome!
