More on the kitchen

• The kitchen table extends into an eight seater; there are dining chairs galore around the house.
• There a more cooking utensils in the scullery, in the cupboard under the sink.
• There are lights under the cupboards above the work surface.
• There are some cleaning materials in the cupboard to the right of the sink.
• The exterior door does not fit very well so draw the curtain across it in cold weather.
• The light in the fridge is a bit temperamental at present but the fridge itself is OK.
• There are some local maps, books on local interest and on cookery in the kitchen. Some of the walks books are rather old so take a map if going walking.
• Recently (Winter 2014/5) we have had a lot of trouble with mice so do not leave food about. There is an electronic mouse scarer plugged into an electrical socket in the kitchen. Please also close the door between the kitchen and the lounge when you go to bed and when you go out.
